Maldives will set a new exciting experience “Underwater Villa”
Glimpse the marine life over your room. Later this year Conrad Maldives Rengali Island will set to open the very first under water villa in the Maldives. The villa submerged five meters (16.4 feet) below sea level, this suites has a clear acrylic walls that provide a 180 view of the coral reef and sea wildlife. Sharks, manta-ray, turtles, octopus, and other marine life swimming around your room.
This villa called “Muraka”, a Dhivehi language of “Coral”, will be one of the breathtaking underwater water villa in the globe.
The Suite has 193-square-foot area where the bedroom and bathroom (even you’re in the toilet, sharks is watching you. joke.). At the sea level area of the suite it has 5,900 square foot with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, bar, living area and butler’s quarters connected by a spiral staircase. In the upper part there are two decks positioned sunrise and other one sunset and the infinity pool.
It is a $15 million investment according to the official press release. So where not be surprise for the daily starts at $50,000.
Muraka suite is not the first under water project in the Maldives, at the same property (Conrad’s Rangali Island’s) the Ithaa restaurant, which opened in 2005 and is also 16 feet below sea level.
